Thesis
Today, most companies can’t use AI to run core business operations. The bottleneck isn’t models or talent. It’s the data.
Business data is scattered across systems, inconsistent, and disconnected from how the business actually runs.
At Palantir, I spent 4 years building production systems that turned messy customer data into systems teams trusted to run real operations, not just reporting.
AI raises the bar. Data that’s “good enough for humans” isn’t good enough for machines.
Humans can work around bad data. They fill gaps with context that only exists in their heads, spot inconsistencies, and catch errors. AI can’t.
If you want AI making real decisions, the data has to be clean, consistent, and tied to how the business runs.
